This book has a single purpose to serve as a primer for the analysis of structural elements in the form of laminated composite plates and shells. However, the use of the word "primer" is not intended to imply that the information contained herein is necessarily elementary in nature, for a composite laminate is a complex nonhomogeneous and anisotropic structure.
