Abstract: Internet of things (IoT) interconnects things, users, and billions of tiny devices in the global network. It has been in focus due to its sensing and control capabilities with a massive deployment of machine to machine (M2M) and people to machine (P2M) devices. Due to its architectural constraints the IoT devices presents unique communication and security concerns. One of the techniques to mitigate this is by replacing the lightweight cryptographic protocols with a robust physical layer security. This research paper is to analyze the security attacks on the physical layer, and propose a security technique to achieve the security requirement of the devices connected to IoT, communicating between the legitimate users. This enables to develop a secure channel to configure the device without the application of any complex system or changes in the hardware of the device. More Details..
